Do Good Work Grant!

Everyone has a Story- What’s Yours?

 Dear Prior Awardee,

WLAMF is so proud of our prestigious group of prior scholarship awardees and the hard work all of you have accomplished over the years.  Many of you continue to work and also volunteer for organizations that exemplify the mission and goal of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan Foundation: to support the education of women who show leadership in advancing the position of women in society.

WLAMF knows each of you has a compelling story of demonstrated leadership in helping a nonprofit organization further its outcomes.  We want to hear your story.  In honor of this, WLAMF is offering a DO GOOD WORK Grant of $1000.00 in your name to the winning nonprofit organization in which you currently work or volunteer.

Please send us your story (maximum 1 page double spaced) on or before January 15, 2016.  It must include your name, the name of your proposed nonprofit organization, and a short summary explaining how your proposed organization supports the education of women who show leadership in advancing the position of women in society.  The WLAMF Do Good Work Grant opportunity is only available to a nonprofit organization in which a past WLAMF scholarship awardee is currently working or volunteering and the proposal statement must be submitted by a past WLAMF scholarship awardee.   The proposed organization must be located in or have a presence in the State of Michigan and be a recognized 501 (c)(3).  All grant proposals should be emailed to Maya Watson at mwatson@bodmanlaw.com.

The winner and the nonprofit organization will be honored at the WLAMF March 23, 2016 Reception.  We look forward to sharing your story and continuing to help you build your legacy.

With Sincere Regards to Your Ongoing Success,

Women Lawyers Association of Michigan Foundation
